2025 Workshop: Progress in Solid Oxide Cell Systems
formerly the Fuel Cell Systems Workshop, organized by Prof. Robert Steinberger-Wilckens (U. Birmingham)
The 2025 Workshop Progress in Solid Oxide Cell Systems, now organized by DLR, will be held in Stuttgart on 08-09 May 2025. This event builds upon its legacy, previously hosted in Bruges, and continues to focus on the challenges surrounding the operation and integration of Solid Oxide Cells (SOCs) within advanced process systems. The workshop will bring together experts to share insights and discuss the following key topics:
SOE/SOFC Operation in Process Systems
- Practical Experiences:
- Process system engineering
- Commissioning of SOC systems
- Steady-state and transient operation of large reactors and systems
- Integration with Upstream and Downstream Processes
- Operation and Control Strategies for Enhanced Performance
- Conceptual SOC System Design Studies and Modelling
- Addressing Degradation Challenges in System Context
Join us for an engaging exchange of knowledge, focused on advancing the practical application of SOC technologies in real-world systems.
